The 64th annual Cannes Film Festival is held between May 11 and May 22, 2011. American actor-director Robert De Niro will be the president of the jury for the main competition, while the list of the films participating in the Festival was announced on April 14, 2011. The opening film is scheduled to be Midnight in Paris written and directed by Woody Allen, starring among others Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Adrian Brody and Carla Bruni. The 4th episode of Pirates of the Carribbean will be on premiere in the Out of Competition section of the Festival. In the frame of the independent Director's Fortnight section, 28-minute short film titled Csicska directed by Hungarian Attila Till will be presented. |
