Film adaptation of novel Never Let Me Go written by famous Japanese-born British author, Kazuo Ishiguro opens in Hungarian cinemas today. The film stars Keira Knigthley, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield. The story is a strange science-fiction one that follows the life of three characters who are clones, part of the "future generation": they were cloned in order to act as organ donors for "regular people" as soon as they reach their twenties. However, after a relatively normal childhood in an English boarding shool, everything changes. Time magazine named the book the best novel of 2005. |
