Leading foreign newspapers, almost without exception, have front page tributes to Liz Taylor who died at the age of 79. The two-time Academy Award winning actress died of heart failure yesterday afternoon, CET. Her obituary published in New York Times highlights a strange phenomenon, since it was written by a journalist who died in 2005. This fact seems to prove the legend that authors of obituaries write their memorials months or sometimes even years before the death of celebrities, so in case of a sudden death, the obituary can be immediately published - after quick update of recent events. |
