Hungarian novelist Imre Kertész received Grande Médaille de Vermeil, the highest award of the city of Paris from Mayor Bertrand Delanoe as "sign of gratitude, admiration, trust and hope". The Nobel Prize-winning author received the prestigious award yesterday and the ceremony was witnessed by representatives of the Hungarian Embassy and the Cultural Institute. Imre Kertész is a guest of honour of the ongoing literary festival in Paris. |
