Current issue of Newsweek dated March 26 is a special one: marking the US return of "Mad Men" TV-series (set in the 1960s) last Sunday, Newsweek decided to adopt the magazine's 1960s design throughout - from the cover all the way down to the ads. The editor of Newsweek explained that the 1960s were such an important era for Newsweek as well (just think about the civil right movements, women's right movements and the Vietnam War) that people making the magazine got all very excited about this special time travel. |
