German weekly Der Spiegel published in yesterday’s issue photos picturing the cruelties of American soldiers in Afghanistan. The article reports that in the spring of 2010 American soldiers murdered several people in Afghanistan without any reason, then made photos of themselves and the corpses. The US Department of Defense wanted to prevent by all means the publication of these three photographs, which are just a fraction of those several thousand pictures and videos that show the cruelties and ferocities of American soldiers. The US Army yesterday formally apologized for the published photographs and the distress these pictures might have caused.
