In the 2010 edition of Lonely Planet Europe, Budapest is featured among the Top 10 European cities most recommended for visiting. Other cities found irresistible by the Lonely Planet editors: London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Vienna, Berlin, Dubrovnik, Athens and Istambul.
The Lonely Planet Europe guide highlighted the Hungarian capitols's vivid café life, the symbiosis of old and modern architecture, the Castle of Buda and the unique spas.
