Leading German, Austrian and French papers analyze the appearance of Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán at the Wednesday session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Süddeutsche Zeitung points out that democratic dialogue does not suit Orbán, while according to Der Standard, it is not good for the EU to have a warrior presidency. In contrast, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung believes that Hungary is not moving towards dictatorship and sees high chance to start an objective debate on the Hungarian Media Law. French weekly, L’Express emphasizes that further conflicts might be faced as a result of the dual citizenship of Hungarians living abroad. |
