Filming of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit will start in mid-February in New-Zealand. Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf the wizard in the Lord of the Rings agreed to participate, as he is one of those few characters who play an important role both in The Hobbit and in the Lord of the Rings. In some short scenes, Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Legolas (Orlando Bloom) will appear, too. The two-part film is directed by Peter Jackson. |
